This means cultivating a lifestyle of "abiding" or connection to Him, yielding our hearts and minds to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Through this, we experience the abundant life Jesus Christ came to give us (John 10:10; 15:4-6), characterized by love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.​ 

 

Our daily choices along with life experiences (past and present) directly impact our fellowship with God.  When we are grounded in Biblical truth, we learn to make godly choices that strengthen our connection with God and enable us to live at peace with Him, ourselves and others (Hebrews 5:14, Galatians 6:8).​
